It is especially fun when movies put effort into dreaming-up the next generation of computer user interfaces. There have been several times where I will watch a movie like Minority Report to get ideas for an infographic. The recent Avengers movie also heavily features beautiful user interfaces by Jayse Hansen. Jayse’s design, even though entirely fictitious, seems like it would actually be practical in real life. The layouts, wiry aesthetics with prominent numbers are a great inspiration for a data viz or dashboard layout.
